Doug & his wife Pat are native Northern Virginians, moving to Advance NC 3 years ago. Doug spent 45 years in IT, starting as an Intern at the Atomic Energy Commission; IT Manager of at Digital Equipment Corporation; and retiring as VP Business Operations for all Defense/Intel secure messaging. Doug & Pat have two grown sons and 5 grandchildren. Doug’s passion is golf and family. He also volunteers for Davie County Meals on Wheels program and is active in his local church. He joined the FCA Board to be able to give back to the community by helping our youth find and follow the path of our Lord Jesus Christ.
